Description
Description
An original pair of aluminium stools or side tables designed by Terence Conran for The Conran Shop in the 1990s, showcasing the clean lines and functional elegance that defined Conran’s approach to contemporary British design. Crafted from solid cast aluminium with a beautifully understated industrial aesthetic, these versatile pieces combine sculptural form with everyday practicality.
Their minimalist silhouette and softly curved profile create a timeless design that works effortlessly as occasional seating, side tables, bedside tables, or display plinths. The brushed aluminium finish gives each piece a subtle lustre while highlighting the natural character of the material, making them equally at home in modern, industrial, minimalist, or loft-style interiors.
Designed with durability in mind, the stools are remarkably robust yet visually lightweight, reflecting Terence Conran’s philosophy of creating beautifully made furniture that is both practical and enduring. Their understated aesthetic allows them to integrate seamlessly into a wide variety of interiors while remaining distinctive examples of late 20th-century British design.
