The result is a bold, theatrical design that blurs the boundaries between functional furniture, lighting and collectible design.

Remarkably rare, the chairs were produced for two television productions: one for the Big Brother house and another for The Friday Night Project with Alan Carr. The Perspex panels show signs of wear consistent with the chair’s age, use and television history, including surface scratches, scuffs and a few splits. These imperfections are in keeping with a piece that has been used in a working television environment rather than preserved purely for display.

This is an authentic piece of television history that has clearly seen plenty of action — and, quite possibly, a few very famous bottoms!
