Highly original Post Office factory clock designed by smiths in 1969 for the packing houses. Designed to sit high on a wall these clocks were designed without any glass for practicality as glass so high up would be difficult to clean. 
Oozing in originality this clock is constructed in anodised aluminium with a brushed steel casing. With 24 hour numbering this clock is immensely unique not just for its origins but with this simple difference. 
A brilliant piece of design history from an iconic British service. The sleek vibrant red lettering and the simple brushed steel casing ensures this piece works with almost any interior design style.

Very good condition, the clock mechanism has been fully replaced with a battery powered one, the clock face is well preserved, the brushed steel has some visible ageing but retains its sleek sheen, please refer to photos.
